This was my first trip to Cocos but definitely not the last, such an unbelievable place to dive especially aboard MV Argo! The ship and her crew were beyond my expectations, I cannot think of anything they could have improved.....oh wait - we didn't see a whale shark! ;-) The diving was amazing and we saw most everything I had hoped to see, schools of hammers, Galapagos, tiger sharks, manta rays, more white tips than I care to remember and so much more that it would take me forever to list!

The trip on DeepSee is not to be missed, 300 meters down and you feel like you are on another planet, hard to describe the feeling! Thanks to Samuel and his crew for this once in a lifetime experience.....well maybe not once, I have to do it again!! If you are thinking of diving Cocos the Undersea Hunter Group is the only dive operation to consider for such a remote location.....the best by far!

This was my my first trip to Cocos and I had an amazing time. The MV Argo is a beautiful boat, very spacious and well laid out for divers and underwater photographers. The whole dive operation was very slick - high quality skiffs, safety concious in this remote location, but they still gave me the freedom I needed for photography. All the crew were friendly and helpful, the food was great and plentiful and the DeepSee operation was very interesting to watch.

Thanks to Shmulik for letting me photograph the sub whilst he was training a new pilot, which made for some very different photos! And a big thanks to Divemasters Ed and Chipoppa for getting me in the right spot to get the shots I wanted. Marine life during the week was abundant and varied - tons of Hammerheads, more White Tips than you could imagine (especially on the night dives), Oceanic Black Tips, a few Tiger Shark sightings, some great encounters with curious Galapagos Sharks, plus Manta, Eagle, Mobula and many Marble Rays. An all round high-class operation and when I return to Cocos it will definitely be with the Undersea Hunter Group.

It’s always hard to find words for something new in your life. It’s like a new step in terms of impressions that stay with you forever. It’s not like skydiving, skiing or surfing… because neither you search for your own limits, nor you feel an adrenaline boost. It’s more like being one of the first explorers of a new world. First you understand that it is amazing, second you feel as you are in the moon. Not many people did that and we can proudly name ourselves as the first family-explorer of the underwater moon.

The crew is very experienced, you can feel a high level of professionalism. They show and explain everything about the submarine and the underwater life. They have a sharp eye and a good sense of humor. So you won’t miss anything and will gain a good impression.

When we got back we felt a bit dizzy from all those feelings and the understanding that we saw something that not every man or woman may see during their whole life. It was amazing, astonishing and now we know why some people were eager to go into the unexplored lands and what they felt when they encountered new lands, cultures or species.

Cocos Island is the most beautiful island I have ever seen. Looking back at those past two weeks, feels like a dream now. The feelings and things i have experienced there,memories and amazing people that made it all happens will stay with me forever. Argo is an amazing boat, but what would a beautiful boat be without a great crew. Waking up to smiling faces every morning and being around people that make you feel like family in the first ten minutes after the boat leaves shore, that is what made it all perfect.

They all made sure that everything you wished for was done with a smile and lots of professionalism. Diving Cocos is unbelievable and the whole island looks like something from another world. Thank you so much to everybody who was part of my trip, I miss you already and I promise I will be back.
