We loved the dive with the DeepSee submarine very much. It was defiantly an adventure that all divers should do at least once in their lifetime. It’s really interesting being at 300m bellow the surface and to see those special & amazing critters there followed by the pilot’s comments throughout the whole dive. I highly recommend everybody to go through this experience.

We came, two friends, both of us diving instructors that dove in many places in the world, and truly, we have never seen an operation operating so well from the first moment ‘till the last. For sure we’ll come back soon.

A bientot peut-etre. Et “Pura Vida”.

This was my first and I know will not be my last trip to the Coco Islands. First I have to say thanks to the ARGO crew who worked so hard doing their best at what they know about the waters around the island. The Cruise Director YOYO and dive guide CHIPOPA made every dive special. Preparing us at our pre-dive briefing on what we were about to see and what to look for at each dive site. The skiff drivers MOSQUE and BURRO made each boat trip an adventure by showing us the island up close so we could take pictures of the beautiful scenery.

There was never a shortage of food (snacks) and drink (Soft Drinks) after each dive, Ships Steward JAVITO made sure of that. At the breakfast, lunch and dinner table the head chef CHICO and his assistant cook CHACO did their best by feeding us with delicious meals every day.

Although I did not go on the “Deepsee” dive the people who did said it was a great experience that all should do. I think it’s because of the team Deepsee ELI / ARIK / FELIPE / MONIO that made it so special for the ones who did. And last is the one who made the crossing to and from the island is Boat Captain RICARDO BONILLA (BONI) I have to say thank you for delivering us to the island and back again safely so we can tell the world what we saw and did on our special vacation.

What we saw were Hammerheads, White tips, Tigers and Galapagos sharks. Every color of Eels, greens, spotted and stripped and one so big it couldn’t get out of its home to say hi. This guy was huge. Devil rays, Eagle rays, Octopus, sea snake eels and many more types of critters large and small to look at. Everywhere you looked there was something to gaze at. The night dives are amazing to watch when the Whitetips hunt for their food.

To the Team Argo
Thank you

We had seven days of amazing diving filled with white tips, hammerheads, Mobula and Manta rays, massive schools of fish, eels, and of course to top it off, 12 foot Tiger and Galapagos sharks. And let us not forget the Rosy Lipped Bat Fish which in comparison to all the sharks was small but no less spectacular.

The Undersea Hunter Group deserves a ton of praise in every department. The accommodations were comfortable and well cared for. The food was always tasty and plenty of it. The boat was fantastic, sparkling clean, and had lots of space to socialize or have a spot to yourself.

But the reason we write this letter is to comment on your staff. From the moment we stepped on board every crew member made us feel right at home. Every single staff member was professional, capable, and courteous.

The diving was always handled in a safe manner while giving each diver the freedom to govern themselves. We spent half the week with Chipopo and the other half with Jojo (Yoyo?!), both very skillful and clearly both love diving for they never tired of questions or "dive talk".

But the fact that everyone was also kind, funny, and treated us like a friend really set the Undersea Hunter Group apart as a dive organization. I know that I can speak for others on our trip when I say we were sad to leave that last morning in the parking lot.

We also went on the Deep See Submarine which is difficult to describe because it is an experience not like anything else. Maybe words like magical, weird, wonderful, and unnerving all at once apply. We were thrilled to have had that opportunity.

As I mentioned in my brief note right after the trip, please keep us informed if any of the fleet moves to a new spot. I copy this note to Kim Larson, our travel agent who also does a superb job for her clients so she may pass our experience on to others.

Although I hate to mention names because everyone was so wonderful, please note Javier is well suited to his job as he made every single guest feel special everyday with his humor and kindness.

You have spoiled us for other trips, see you again. I hope you will share this note with the crew.

Kindest regards,
Keely Schierl
