If you've ever dreamt of looking a colossal humpback whale eye-to-eye, now is your chance.
Join us on one of our exclusive back-to-back snorkel expeditions to the Silver Bank, January to April 2020!
Home to the largest breeding ground for the north Atlantic humpback whale, Megaptera novaeangliae, the Silver Bank is situated approximately 75 miles north of the Dominican Republic and 100 miles southeast of Turks and Caicos.
This area is legendary for close, in-water encounters with humpback whales that come here to court and mate, to give birth and to nurture their calves before heading back north to their summer feeding grounds.
Week-long expeditions aboard the Sea Hunter will be led by Gene Flipse of Conscious Breath Adventures who has been guiding adventures at the Silver Bank for 19 years. Click here for more info on our website, and here for the cruise itinerary.
The Sea Hunter is not new to this location – longtime guests may remember that she ran trips to the Silver Bank back in the 1990s. Our crew can't wait to return!
There are limited spaces left to jump on these January-April trips, and to swim with these majestic creatures. Each voyage will have a maximum of 10 snorkelers per skiff (and two skiffs per trip, with a limit of 20 total guests at any given time) – meaning that wildlife encounters are guaranteed to be small and intimate. Contact us now to reserve your space!
