Second only to the massive schools of hammerheads, the next most-beautiful thing about diving with us at Cocos is the isolation bubble that we create before anyone sets foot on the vessel. Among many other stringent safety protocols, all crew and staff are required to provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test before departure – guaranteeing a level of ultimate safety and relaxation you just can’t find anywhere else.
We require that all passengers are fully vaccinated in order to join a trip.
Currently tourists traveling to Costa Rica are NOT required to provide a negative COVID test. However, Undersea Hunter does require that you take a Covid PCR test in Costa Rica prior to the trip.
All passengers must wear a mask on the bus transfer from San Jose to Puntarenas pier. Furthermore we require the wearing of a mask for the duration of the trip when in public areas inside the vessel, excpet during meal times.
Detailed sanitation measures will be given to doors, desks, countertops, tables and chairs, phones, remotes, thermostats, cabinetry, pulls and hardware, and all other areas that guests come in direct contact with.
Guest rooms are meticulously cleaned and disinfected daily with triple-check system for cleaning and sanitation.

Custom menus will focus on quality ingredients that limit contact in kitchen prep, with attendant-only served buffets, plated meals, receptions, and coffee stations.
