“All the dives were incredible. The perfect combination of marine life and incredible dive masters.” – Olivier

We’re just back from another EXCELLENT expedition to Cocos Island! This time we had aboard Undersea Hunter co-owner Avi Klapfer, who captivated everyone with stories from his 30+ years diving this magic and mysterious place.

Visibility was great all week, around 70+ feet, with schools of hammerheads at Dirty Rock, Manuelita and ALcyone. Galapagos sharks were extremely active at Punta Maria, Manuelita Outside, Alcyone and Small Dos Amigos. Aftgernoon dives were lovely, with ltos of small creatures like mantis shrimp, flounders, snapper, lobsters and eels.

At Manuelita Channel we had some hammer heads in cleaning station, a big Galapagos shark, and a massive school of bonitos (black tuna).

On our final dive of the voyage, at Manuelita Outside a giant manta ray came to Manuelita’s first cleaning station to see us off.

The crossings both ways were smooth and calm with sunny skies.
