“We stopped counting the sharks… there were just to many. The ship is very well equipped. The crew helpful, friendly and skilled.” –Thomas Weiss
This expedition was unforgettable, right from the check out dive! We jumped in to find many schools of fish, hammerhead sharks and about 20 enormous marble rays geared up and ready to mate. At Manuelita Outside we encountered various hammerheads, 3 eagle rays, Galapagos sharks and a huge school of jacks.

On our second day at Dirty Rock two immense schools fo hammerheads passed overhead, as well as a big shoal of jacks. There were also dolphins at the safety stop.

Submerged Rock was phenomenal – the swimthrough was full of life and a big tiger shark made a very close pass right in front of the group. We finished the dive with yet another school of jacks, followed by some whitetip reef sharks hunting.

Small Dos Amigos has truly been incredible all year, and this trip was no exception. We saw lots of Galapagos and hammerhead sharks there. At Alcyone we found yellowfin tuna and blacktip sharks hunting, while hammerhead silhouettes fluttered overhead. Then there were two tiger sharks at Big Dos Amigos, and
on afternoon dives at Viking Rock we saw graceful manta rays.

There was excellent visibility around Manuelita Island, with hammerheads in the sand along with eagle rays. Manuelita Outside was like an aquarium, with hammerheads, turtles, frogfish, Galapagos sharks, mantas and more fish than we could count. Oh and let’s not forget the whale shark!

The crossings were smooth and calm both ways.
