Hello everyone!!

We are so exited to tell you all about our last trip to Cocos island!

When we arrived at the island, we awoke to the beautiful sunrise and jumped right into the water with the DeepSee submersible. Every day of the trip we did two dives per day, and each one of them was incredible, unique and unforgettable in its own way!! We encountered lots of sharks include hammerheads, whitetips, Galapagos sharks and (last but not least) the beautiful whale shark.

One of our frequent and still unidentified creatures that we see on our deep dives is this beautiful nudibranch. (P.S. We love you, Bella ;) )

We had the opportunity to dive with so many amazing people who joined us this trip. Some saying that it’s a “once in a lifetime experience,” and others say “it is like being on the moon or a in whole new world.” It is indeed a “new world,” as we humans know so little about the depths of the ocean that every dive for us is exciting and we never know what to expect! A new species, a new place, a new behavior or a new monster from the abyss might present at any moment –- who knows.

We’ve only been back a couple of days and are already missing the island! We’re ready and waiting to see you on our next trip to Cocos.

Yours truly,
The pilots.
